Mortgage Calculator Canada (“the app”) is provided by Bhupesh Gulati (“we”, “us”). We built the app to respect your privacy. The app has no user accounts and no servers of our own — every calculation runs entirely on your device, and we never collect or store your financial inputs.
The numbers you enter (home price, income, down payment, rates, etc.) are processed only on your device to show results. They are never transmitted to us or stored off your device.
The free version of the app shows ads, and the app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase. These rely on third-party services that may collect data:
Buying the Pro version removes ads and the AdMob SDK no longer requests them.
The app is a general-audience financial utility and is not directed to children. Ads are configured to a general (G) content rating.
You can reset your device’s advertising identifier in your device settings, and you can purchase the ad-free Pro version at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
We may update this policy; the “Effective” date above reflects the latest version.

Mortgage rules, tax rates, CMHC premiums, and lender criteria change and vary by situation. Always confirm figures with your lender, mortgage broker, lawyer/notary, or a qualified professional before making decisions.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that any result is correct, complete, or current. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its results.
The app offers an optional one-time in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks all calculators. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and refund policies. You can restore a previous purchase from the app’s Settings or paywall.
You agree not to misuse the app or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
